For 10 years I worked at one of the premier branding agencies Siegel+Gale, where I led brand strategy development for some of the world's most successful companies. This is what I learned:

  • Some brands have souls. Some don't. Those that do are built from the inside-out.

  • It's one thing to make a promise. It's another to deliver on it. Brands today need to do both.

  • A clear and simple brand will beat a complex one every day of the week.

  • Brands live in real-time. If yours doesn't, you risk becoming irrelevant.
